1. Basic Electrical Engineering Lab:-Basic Electrical Engineering lab deals with the basic principles of electricity that needed for any discipline under engineering program. In this lab thevenin’s theorem, Norton’s theorem, Superposition principles, electrical connections of transformers, Motors and RLC loads. This lab deals with all practical systems regarding important electrical panels, 1-phase, 3-phase etc.

2. Electrical Machines Lab: - This Lab is divided into two parts where In Electrical Machine-1 there is learning curve for finding the turn’s ratio & polarity of a 1-phase transformer, performing open and short circuit tests in 1-phase transformers, Scott connections, Swinburn’s test, Hopkinson’s test, ward Leonard tests and also speed control of DC Motors. In Electrical Machine Lab-2 we perform the load test on 3-phase induction motors & DC Generator set for determining the efficiency of induction motor, study and starting of 1phase induction motor for light running and block rotor test, “v” and inverse “v” curves for synchronous machines. 3.Electrical Measurements and Instrumentation Lab:- Electrical Machines can only run if the instruments, those are recording values gives us a perfect value.EMMI Lab helps us to get the values of D’Arsonval Instruments, measurement of power factor using 3-wattmeter & 2-Wattmeter methods, measurement of capacitances, inductance and resistances with different principles used for this lab.

4. Network Analysis and Synthesis Lab: - Network theory or Network analysis deals with the RC, RL, and RLC circuit and determine their transient values. It calculates the resonance frequency, bandwidth       of RLC series circuit, verifying the “Z” & “Y” parameters of a two port network. Plotting the frequency response of low pass and high pass filters. Calculating the ABCD parameters of a two port network,

5. Power System Lab: - Power Industry is the backbone of Electrical engineering, over in our department we deal with measurements of transformer oil, finding string efficiency of insulator, guard ring, without guard ring, ABCD parameters of transmission lines. Measurement of power angle characteristics of transmission line, parallel operation of two alternators,, study the characteristics of T and Pie network, study the characteristics of a differential relay, testing and cal liberation of energy meter.

6. Power Electronics Lab: - This lab is divided into two parts one for Power electronics-1 lab where we work mainly with thrusters related equipments only, this lab helps to get to study the characteristics of diode, thyristors and triac, study characteristics of transistors and MOSFET, UJT firing circuit, thyristor of a d-c circuit breaker, full wave controller, dc chopper, series inverter, bridge inverter, and single phase cyclo converter. In the Power electronics-II lab we deal with the average output voltage speed of DC Motor, DC generator set, study of the speed control of three phase induction motor using cycloconverter, output waveforms for parallel operations of SCR’s, RLC series phase circuit parameters, PWM, FWM techniques using rms values of output voltage of delta angle, and IGBT phase, Reduce the harmonics of inverters by displacement control techniques and for MOSFET output voltage step up using chopper circuit.

7.Control System Lab:- This lab helps to work with the DC Position of control system, linear system simulator, P, PI and PID controller systems, controlling DC motor speed control using control system methods, Temperature, relay control systems, Compensation designs Position control systems and to study and verify the synchros.
